About US
SMG Aerial started out in capturing technical and creative solutions for our clients. We have always had a passion for aviation and technology. Combining the two we created SMG Aerial. At SMG Aerial we take pride in providing our clients with beautiful actionable data to be more efficient and set themselves apart. Our FAA-certified pilots have over 13 plus years of experience and have flown in all areas of drone services.
We have accumulated tons of safe flight operating hours using drone technology in the oil and gas field at multiple refineries for flare stack inspections, storage tank roof inspections, and confined space flights. Elios drone for weld inspections and visual inspections with certified American Petroleum Inspectors (API).
Other services provided for clients include offshore oil rig inspections, orthomosaic mapping, and stockpile volume measurements for ports, refineries, and manufacturing facilities. Our pilot’s experience and knowledge of the field provide solutions for our client’s needs.
